The 1st episode they showed online was a little different. The last thing they showed was Kody getting upset about 400 guests. I'm interested in how many people actually showed up because if they had 400 people at their wedding 1/2 of them were acquaintances & just plain strangers. I am now more curious what kind of life they've been living this past year because yeah, she's immature & lives in La La land & he's immature & controlling. The episodes this season are going to be a chronological roller coaster.

I agree. They've waited WAY too long to come back. It's already been a year since Mykelti and Tony got married. If memory serves they were married in December 2016. I said then that Mykelti rushed the wedding because she was jealous of Madison. The looks are Tony's parents faces during the dinner.........I get that there was a language barrier but......geesh.........

I was not surprised at all at Kody's reaction to Meri wanting the B&B. It did him no good because Meri opened it December 13......and he was there by her side.

The interesting thing is that apparently there were over 400 people at the wedding: People Magazine article. This season is a chronological mess since it is a mashup of events over the last year and a half. We know from following Meri's travels that she has spent the majority of that time on LulaRoe; the B&B has only been the last few months. Since the trust deed is strictly in her name, it would appear she figured out a way of not using "family" money.

I say good for Meri. Maybe she's on her way to getting away from that mess.

@terriecoleman That's what I was thinking Terrie - I finally see a tangible way for Meri to leave. Now I'm wondering if the season was prolonged because Meri was the one who wasn't on board & this B&B was how they got her to continue the show. In theory, if everybody/everything on the show is compensated, maybe part of the down payment came from TLC. The woman who owned it acted like it was a successful business but when Kody asked about it, it didn't sound that way. It's just an overpriced old house unless it's going to make money. Also, the Brown's company needs tax deductions, especially with the new tax rules. If the house is a small business vs a residence, it will be great for their tax situation.

But Meri wanted the house because it had been in her family......... Having said that I get that apparently the B&B never does get to capacity....maybe Meri is thinking she will turn that around.

Did you read the article from the Salt Lake Tribune about this that I posted?

I had already read all the articles, gone to the B&B website + read Meri's social media coverage. Did they show Meri & Annie meeting with the owner last night? In the episode online they show Meri meeting with the owner & going thru the house. I must have missed it, but I don't remember them showing that scene last night.

Obviously, Meri is thinking her celebrity will help the business. The lady who owned it said they had weddings there & I thought, well, they don't need to look for wedding venues anymore. But the place looks pretty run down & as picky as all the Brown kids are, I don't see any of them getting married there. Certainly not Michelle & Logan.

Yes they showed Meri meeting with the owner last night. You can definitely tell it's an older house because the rooms are small. I think I do agree that none of the kids would want to get married there unless they were set on a small wedding with just immediate family.

We've gotten off subject of this post..........LOL........Did you think Mykelti and Tony were acting selfish? I sure did.....hell I don't even know 400 people well enough to invite them to a wedding and I highly doubt they did either.

Yes, Mykelti & Tony act like spoiled children. Tony's sarcasm & condescending way of talking make me want to slap him & I don't think they like him at all. We don't really know if there were 400 people there, but we'll find out. If there were, they were a bunch of freeloaders. However, Tony is right about Mexican parties. I am sandwiched between 2 Mexican families & my one neighbor has parties a lot & there are always many people there & loud Mexican music. I just love it. rage

Jeesh, Tony needs to get a filter. First thing he thinks to say to his future in-laws at a wedding venue is I need a tampon? Seriously? They are both so immature. Beat on each other's pinatas at their wedding? The whole thing is just so awkward.

Now we know why they took so long in between seasons. They were embarrassed to show this Tony/Mykelti fiasco. Tony is low class. I think I'd need to see last week's episodes 3 times to list all the things he said, like what you mentioned above Jonnie. I think he's a low life freeloader who thought he was going to get some of that TLC money. Christine KEEPS talking about how she didn't respond so well at first, but the reason she does that is she really can't stand him.

I agree. Tony is awful. Are you watching right now?

Yes. I miss IMDB so much right now because now I want to tweet & if I do every Brown will block me. OMG I hate him, but that's how they are portraying him. If they wanted the audience to like him, they would edit it differently.

I agree again......he's terrible

We need somewhere we can chat during show......lol
