We follow the original ITV listing. But feel free to create an alternative episode group that include the Christmas specials within their respective seasons.

But even in their listing the "special" listed as part of the season. That's also how Netflix is airing the show.

No. The description of "Episode Eight" clearly indicates that this episode is the last one of the season,
