It started off really bad but got better comes S2 when they added more characters to the story. The team is just not interesting or fun and Korra is so annoying (more annoying than Aang was in ATLA). But then again the shoes was hard to fill considering how good the characters and story from the first show. but it is what it is. It's not really that bad but it's not good either. There are so much they could have done to make it all better. These are just three of them:

1. They should have introduced a villain from S1 that Korra will fight in S4 to give audience something to anticipate (Unalaaq or Zaheer could do the job) instead of different villains per season. It feels like "All right who we gonna beat this time." There's no threat coz you already know she'd win.

2. They ruined a lot of characters with good potential. I really wish they reached a lot more deeper than this but I got to say they are really good in making annoying characters.

3. The fight scenes are bad coz they did not establish a good power structure. Idk man, they made it feel like lava bending is so weak and I really wished they mystified it. Like it's not possible no one can do it in a hundred years or something like that even the levitation needed a little more backstory.

But if there's any consolation I find I think it's those stills, it's so beautiful. But yeah, that's about it.
