Discuss The Pillars of the Earth

I am currently going back thru and watching The Pillar of the Earth and a world without just for fun and love these miniseries. But something I didn't notice that 1st time I watched and I know it's an odd question, but who is the father to King Henry's grandson (from his Daughter)? Was it one of those inbred royalty things where she fathered his own grandson?

I think by the way, that there are tons of examples of this such scenario thru out actual history and that's why the British royal family suffered from poor health for the longest time. They never really procreated outside of their own familial gene pool until now. Its just interesting and weird, lol.
