Any long term Five-0phile knows that the series is bad about introducing great characters and hen dropping them. My biggest gripe right now is Dr. Shaw. She was not only beautiful, she had some depth. They even featured a little development on her and suggested she and Jerry were a possible item. Then she vanished like a beamed up landing party member. Let's hear some others. I'm not referring to characters that were written out like Catherine or Max. I mean ones like I cited that disappeared with no explanation..

I can't think of any other than Steve's sister. I don't know if there was an explanation or not. I missed it if there was.
One person I don't want to see back is Melanie Griffith as Danno's mother. She was just plain creepy with an older woman's face and this baby voice. Just didn't look believable as his mother either.

Dr. Charlie Fong. I haven't seen him since S05E04 "Ka No'eau". Before Adam, he was a possible love interest for Kono. They flirted in S1E22 "Ho'ohuli Na'au".
Fong: "You're the first girl I kissed."
Kono: "Oh, now I totally remember."

Ellie Clayton has not been seen since season 5 and I don't think she's been mentioned since Steve's first date with Lynn in season 6.
