I would also like to note that PLEX Media Server does not pick up \ / : * ? < > | in the file name because Windows does not allow these symbols to be used in naming files. This should be noted in Original Value notes.

Title doesn’t matter for plex to recognise it. [and btw in case it wasn't obvious, title change request denied, official English title includes : .]

Yes, it does. I have the file named to Naruto Shippuden - Episode 26 - Puppet Fight 10 vs. 100! this shows up as episode 00 with no metadata on PLEX. Someone created the text to read 10 Puppets VS 100 Puppets and that's nowhere near the actual title. If I wanted to fix this in PLEX then it would have to be Naruto Shippuden - Episode 26 - 10 Puppets VS 100 Puppets (this name is nowhere near the correct name).

That has more to do with your filenaming.

You should try naming it like;
TV Shows/ShowName/Season XX/ShowName – sXXeYY – Optional_Info.extension
So in your case it's
It doesn't matter at all if you include the title or not. You should just have the S01E26 there. or s01e26 it doesn't matter. As long as you have indicated it's the 26th episode of the 1st season. Now it just says episode 26... good luck with that.
// EDIT: Normally it is not that much of an issue, but this episode title contains numbers too. That's just too confusing for plex if you don't help them a little.

I also notice there no episode number in changes so this might be adding issues finding the episode info for PLEX. Below is an example from Season 3 Episode 54 Nightmare.
Lang User - tmdb983464
Action - U
Key - episode_number
Edit - Original Value 1 Value 54

What about it? The change is good. They should all be in one season anyway. But it's an awful lot of work to do that manually. So right now the order it important. Travis can than move them all in one season.
Although, to be fair, this should really be combined with the Naruto entry.

To be extra clear, Plex is super smart with their file name recognising, they only need SXXEXX to work. These all work:

The changes don't include a numerical value of 26 in the change area what so ever. I've used all forms mentioned on PLEX naming conviction of naming a file and the episode didn't get fixed. (and the numerical value might be a reason why).
Why organize it in one season? That's just lazy. Disorganized as well. Especially if most users don't know how you guys are organizing stuff when they are searching metadata for their Anime with PLEX.

I'm very aware of how to use PLEX. If you don't, believe me, please take a file copy its name to the episode I mentioned "26" see what you get.

Because there's no seasons for Naruto. If you wanna split them by TV cours, or DVD volumes or whatever, you can create episode groups. Take a look at Monogatari series for example. You can seee episode groups here
And non anime, like lockup
Also, what has episode 26 to do with episode 54? You're confusing two episodes?
Change history pages where only instated like ... idk when. Way before those episodes of One Piece were added/imported. So there's no record of that. It doesn't matter for Plex though. If you're having issues, at least try renaming you file. If all else fails. Contact Plex about it (or if you refuse to rename your file )

We are talking about Naruto Shippūden you have seasons 1-24 plus specials. Episode 01-25 then 27-32 of season 1 comes out good but 26 is messed up. Not showing anything unless you title it Naruto Shippuden - S01E26 - Puppet Fight 10 vs. 100! then it shows just episode 26 with no metadata.
Please re-read. I used that has an example. If you look in episode 26 you will not see
Lang User - tmdb983464 Action - U Key - episode_number
Edit - Original Value 1 Value 26 (this should be there to identify the episode but it's not).
Did you even try to do what I asked to see what would happen?

Like I mentioned above I'm very well aware of how to name files on PLEX Media Server. I tried every format mentioned on their page. The issue someplace on your page.
I mentioned if you don't, believe me, you can try for yourself and it seems like you don't feel like fixing the issue from the looks of it. You can take a video file copy it rename it to Episode 25 and see if you get metadata for Naruto Shippuden episode 25 and if you do try renaming it to 26 using the formats you can do and see what you get.

Like I mentioned, all the episodes of the first season probably don't have that. The user (orangeprincess, who has deleted her account), only changed the episode numbers for the season2 and so on.
But logging off from this thread, it's getting nowhere. And I don't understand what you need what. But ultimately, it's an Plex issue -> contact THEM.

It's not a PLEX issue. Did you even try to do what I said in the last comment?

The other episodes work but 26 has an issue. PLEX uses TheMovieDB and TheTVDB by default and TheTBDB is very limited to what they do with their Anime titles. TheMovieDB has more Metadata then TheTVDB. But you seem to have issues with some episodes here and there.
