Actually it was meant to illustrate what season 1 was going to be about have they gone with the original Berman and Braga plans it would not have NX-01 going into space but it would pick up the events after Cochran discovered the warp drive it was going to be like sort of The Right Stuff before actually going into space

If the series as it was, had kept going, the BS would have just gotten deeper. For example, they were supposedly leading up to the big Earth-Romulan War. But Enterprise was set just 75 years before TOS, and we "know" from "Balance Of Terror" that the Romulan war was at least 100 years previous, and was fought using ships much more primitive than NX-01. And that even at the time of (early) TOS the Romulans didn't have warp drive, but they did in the Enterprise series. And that the ships used had no space for captives, and no ship-to-ship VISUAL communication. NX-01 had both.

In ENT they didn't have visual contact with the Romulans

That's correct, but there was no crew on the drones to see. Meanwhile Spock said that ship-to-ship visual communication didn't EXIST, yet NX-01 had it.

In the frist episode the Romulans appear "Minefield" they did not have any visual contact and maybe Spock's information was incorrect (Bones woud have had a fieldday if he had known that)😁

They never SAW the Romulans in the episodes where the Romulans inexplicably had warp drive, either. If they had, then they would have known already that they were related to the Vulcans, which wasn't discovered until Balance Of Terror. Tucker and Reed heard the one Romulan talk to them, but they never saw him or any other Romulan.

But Spock didn't say that they just didn't happen to see any Romulans at the time, he said that the ships weren't CAPABLE of it. But NX-01 was, although it was supposedly an earlier and more primitive ship. And they used ship-to-ship visual communication frequently, with other races.

The Romulans shouldn't have had cloaking devices either in the Enterprise episode "Minefield". The "Balance Of Terror" episode showed that both it and the Romulan Plasma weapon were completely new developments. Yet the Romulans did have cloaking devices. It's all a problem with making new content for such a long-running franchise, with multiple different writers. There's bound to be some contradictions.

One excuse could be that the Minefield ship was some kind of prototype. But yes it's overall just sloppy thinking and writing. The Romulans certainly wouldn't have had warp drive nearly 100 years before they were still using impulse ships. The smart thing to do would have been to make them a different race in Enterprise, but that wouldn't have been "cool!"

Hey Star Trek lore contradicts itself on numerous occasions .Cochrane was from Alpha Centauri in TOS and from Earth in First Contact.the emotion chip in TNG was much smaller than in Generations,Chekov not being on the Enterprise during Space Seed even though Kahn remembers Chekov in TWOK Etc etc

I count those as rather small, actually. And there are ways to rather comfortably retcon many if not most of them. But the biggest single problem to me is when they say how fast warp speed is, but then they get someplace in maybe hours or even minutes, when according to their own numbers it would take WEEKS or MONTHS.

Yes, "Neptune and back in six minutes" seems fast, but then factor in how far it is just to Alpha Centauri... Well, it ain't so fast any more.

Sure, but like with Khan and Chekov, there were a lot of events we didn't see - it's an hour show and the events depicted probably took place over at least most of one whole day, if not more - which means shift changes on the bridge and stuff.... Khan could have met Chekov at some point without it being shown on-screen. It's obvious that a lot of stuff happens that isn't actually shown on-screen. And nobody in the show ever said that Chekov WASN'T on board when Khan was there...

Raw physics is a bit harder to retcon. It's almost like if someone looks at the Enterprise and says "Wow, I bet it can go a million miles an hour! You could go anywhere in the universe, like RIGHT NOW!!!" Well actually, that would be a slow idle, or less. Heck, just warp 1, if that's the speed of light, is a million miles in about FIVE SECONDS!!!

The modern ships at the time of Voyager can do about 1000 light-years in a year, they say. That would mean, for the TOS episode "Obsession" where they're going to chase the cloud creature to its "home" which is 1000 light years away, it would take them a YEAR just to get there, and another YEAR to get back for their scheduled rendezvous. But they supposedly do it in 48 hours. For a 2000-light-year 'round trip. i.e., 1000 light-years in a DAY. That means Voyager could get back in just over 2 months.

At least it is not as bad as new Trek 😋
