Either the aired order in TMDB is wrong or it is wrong in the other lists. The episode list on TMDB seem to have episodes that does not exist in the other sources.

Aha, that explains a lot. However, I do find that moderators seem to choose when to follow original airings inconsistently. Your principles does eg not apply to the order of Ducktales at TMDB which originally aired with ”The Treasure of the Golden Suns", which was later split up into a five-part serial in future reruns. There are more examples. I am not saying you are wrong, but it is inconsistent.
Having the original order as TMDB has of Jem is unfortunately no good to me. It might be the right thing to keep it this way though. However, I will scrape from TVDB instead.
