En Conan, la Ran, en Kogoro i el doctor Agasa són a Londres de viatge. Allà en Conan coneix un nen, l'Apollo, que li explica que ha rebut el missatge d'un home sospitós que anuncia un assassinat. Tement que sigui veritat, se separen i comencen a investigar per la capital britànica. Quan cau la nit, en Conan no ha tornat a l'hotel i la Ran, preocupada, surt a buscar-lo.

为了尽快解开这张充满危险气息的暗号文字，柯南、阿笠博士、小兰和小五郎兵分两路分头调查，在贝克街福尔摩斯的雕像下小兰还遇到了著名网球选手格拉斯。下午与戴安娜女士共进晚餐的时候柯南和阿笠博士人不见踪影，于是小兰外出寻找，期间她打电话给工藤希望借助他的力量解开暗号，这时，大本钟响起，破解第一行暗号的工藤却在无意之中暴露了自己在伦敦的事情。

Ran, feeling upset as she believes Shinichi does not share her feelings, is confided by Apollo's sister, pro tennis player Minerva Glass. Minerva then parts ways with Ran advising her love is zero and would never amount to anything no matter the effort. Ran calls Shinichi for advice on the riddles. Conan, tells Ran the first riddle "A rolling bell rises me", refers to Big Ben and accidentally reveals he is in London. Realizing Ran will discover Conan's true identity if she finds him, Conan and Agasa flee from her. Conan becomes cornered in a phone booth and is forced to take the antidote to the APTX 4869 for the return trip and confronts Ran as Shinichi. Ran confesses her pain of liking Shinichi who is indifferent to her feelings and runs away as he pursues her.

Ran s'en veut d'avoir été sèche au téléphone avec Shinichi. Elle sillonne les rues de Londres à la recherche d'indices pour résoudre la lettre codée, et fait la rencontre de la tenniswoman Minerva Glass. Ran appelle Conan sur le téléphone de Shinichi et, à cause du manque d'attention de ce dernier, se rend compte qu'il est à Londres sans l'avoir prévenue. Pour éviter qu'elle ne découvre son identité, Conan va compromettre son retour au japon, et déclencher une grande dispute dans les rues de Londres.

暗号文が示している場所を探してロンドン中を駆け巡るコナンと阿笠博士。蘭は新一の携帯に電話をかけ暗号の事を相談すると新一（コナン）はコナンから聞いていると説明。その時、ビッグベンの時計の鐘が鳴り、新一（コナン）は暗号文はビッグベンの事だと気付く。だが、同時にロンドンにいることが蘭にバレてしまい…。

묵시록의 암호를 해독하려 하고 란은 셜록 홈즈의 동상이 있는 곳에서, 세계 No.1 테니스 챔피언인 미네르바 글래스를 만나게 된다. 미네르바는 자신이 애인에게서 차인 이야기를 바탕으로 Love is 0(러브는 제로, 러브는 테니스에서 0점을 뜻함.)를 말한다. 한편 코난은 범인이 계획한 런던에서의 대형 살인이 바로 윔블던에서 일어날 것임을 추리하게 되면서 사건에 휘말려 버린다.

¡Comienza la investigación en Londres! Kogoro, Ran, Agasa y Conan intentan descifrar la nota que el loco asesino le entregó al niño, Apollo, que resulta ser hermano de la famosa tenista Minerva Glass. Curiosamente, Ran se topa con esta deportista que le dice una frase que dará mucho que pensar a la mejor amiga de Kudo "El amor es cero". Por otra parte, y ante la imposibildad de resolver el caso, Ran llama a Shinichi. Durante la llamada se escucha el Big Ben por lo que Ran deduce que el detective adolescente está en Londres y va en su búsqueda. La única solución es que Conan se transforme en Shinichi para evitar sospechas.
