New show or new season?

Is the reboot a new show (like IMDB says http://www.imdb.com/title/tt6845390/) or a new season (like TVDB says https://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=season&seriesid=77068&seasonid=741945&lid=7)?

I've never heard of a "reboot" with all the same cast, and it also usually pre-supposes starting over from the beginning. Roseanne is definitely not starting over from the beginning. It still might be categorized as a "new show," though, rather than just another season of the old one, 20-something years later.

Will & Grace. Same cast. Considered here as a new show. Elsewhere it is considered as season 9.

The first episode of Roseanne is airing March 27.

It might be classified as a "new show" on some sites, and not on others. But I don't think anyone is calling it a "reboot." Not with the same cast, and not starting over.

ABC is saying: "‘ROSEANNE’ RETURNS TO ABC WITH ALL-NEW EPISODES IN A SPECIAL HOUR-LONG PREMIERE, TUESDAY, MARCH 27.". Also ABC says its a revival not a reboot. Which makes me believe this would be a new season. So I think we should add a new season.
