Debate Roseanne

the last season was all kinds of weird but the last Episode with the last second reveals of the "truth" relationships and character's lives. how are they gonna address that?

good question. I read somewhere that they are going to "ignore" the last episode so that they can bring John Goodman back. I dont know if that is going to work.

They'll do the same as Will and Grace and pretend it never happened.

Do you think is going to work?

I don't know, I would have to watch a see. Some revival's works, others do not.

I just watch the teaser on youtube and i think is going to be hilarious. grin

They did a segment on 20/20 last night and one of the things they revealed is D.J. ends up marrying the black girl he didn't want to kiss in the school play and they have a child.

I cant wait to watch. Hope not to get dissapointed

I don't know how they'll deal with Dan supposedly being dead. If they say he wasn't really dead, then doesn't that mean they actually won the lottery? Or something.

But on more practical terms, I read the story about the reboot show in the "Parade" newspaper "magazine" and it says Sarah Chalke will be in the show too, playing a 41-year-old married woman who wants 43-year-old "Becky" (Lecy Goranson who looks tatted up enough to be a real fit now as a Connor) to be a surrogate mother. Who would want a 43-year-old surrogate? Suspension of disbelief just went out the window for sure.

As for this site, will there be a separate page for 2018 Roseanne? Or will it be considered "the next season?"

Well, they were both blonde and stuff. And I find that far less incredible than someone wanting a 43-year-old surrogate mother.

No, I didn't see it. Doubt I ever will, either. But that's what the descriptions said, and my earlier posts were based on that, before the episode was shown.

Something else is that in the last season of Roseanne, David and Darlene had their daughter, Harris, which would make her about 20 years old now, but they are presenting her as a high school girl in the reboot.

Supposedly Becky just lied on the surrogate application, or whatever. But does anyone believe that would be enough to fool them? They would want medical records, etc.
