自小失明的女孩，在虫师父亲的努力下，通过被一种叫做眼福的虫寄生从而获得光明。时光流逝，女孩的视力越来越好，可以透过物体甚至眼睑看到远方，过去和注定要发生的未来。能预知未来，却不能将其改变。全是光明的世界未必强过一片黑暗，眼福眼祸相生相依。最后，眼福脱离了女孩的身体，女孩再次失明，却获得了心灵的宁静。

"All that is in my world... is seem sound taste and touch. That is all. That is enough..."

Finally able to reach a city, Ginko comes across a "biwa hoshi" named Amane, singing songs about Mushi and she is immediately able tell that he is a Mushi-shi. So she forces him to stay a night at an inn when she later reveals that she once saw a "Ganpuku" a very rare Mushi that will make the host see better and better until they die.

Après avoir atteint une ville, Ginko tombe sur un "biwa hoshi" nommé Amane, qui chante des chansons sur les Mushi et elle est immédiatement capable de dire qu'il est un Mushishi. Elle le force donc à passer une nuit dans une auberge où elle lui révèle plus tard qu'elle a vu un "Ganpuku", un Mushi très rare qui permet à son hôte de voir de mieux en mieux jusqu'à ce qu'il meure.

Finalmente conseguindo chegar a uma cidade, Ginko se depara com um "biwa hoshi" chamado Amane, cantando canções sobre Mushi e ela imediatamente percebe que ele é um Mushi-shi. Então ela o força a passar uma noite em uma pousada, quando mais tarde revela que uma vez viu um "Ganpuku", um Mushi muito raro que fará o anfitrião ver cada vez melhor até morrer.
