The 55th anniversary of Star Trek was last year on September 8, 2021. Looking at the poster, I was disappointed to see Captain Kirk (William Shatner) placed somewhere in the background. In 2026 will Shatner be replaced by the new actor? What will then be the position of NuKirk?

Are they arranged in any discernible order on this poster?
I wouldn’t think it was haphazard. I'm must be "a method…." (You know, that whole picture--thousand words thing.)

Of course, it's always Sept 8. But "56th anniversary" doesn't have quite the same zing.

The 60th anniversary will be the end of Pike's five year mission and the reboot of (S)TOS.

So, if I'm understanding your post correctly, Strange New Worlds already has a locked in series finale in 2026? Well, that's rather depressing. But what I'm a bit upset to hear is the fact that Paramount Plus is going to do a series reboot of TOS! They should just leave the Classic TOS alone!

Those are still rumours (that's why I added the ). When it was decided to produce "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds", a plan was made to have the 60th anniversary coincide with a reboot, remake or continuation, where Pike would be handing over command to Kirk. Of course this all depends on many factors, like the success and popularity of (S)SNW, but ultimately it's the decision of TPTB. Nothing is definitive yet.
Season two of (S)SNW has finished filming and will premiere in 2023. Season three not confirmed yet.
