In the novel "Yesterday's Son (1983)" by A. C. Crispin, Spock discovers he has a son, Zar, whose mother is Zarabeth (STOS S3E23 "All Our Yesterdays").
Of course this did not happen in the television series or the movies.
Is it possible that Spock has children? Who would be the mother?

According to Picard in the episode Sarek he mentions meeting Sarek many years ago, very briefly at his son's wedding as a young lieutenant, So I guess the person he married is the most likely candidate to have Spock's children .Although there is the Pon Far that he and Saavik had in ST III and it had been written in the script of ST IV (and perhaps test footage was shot) where Spock's mother Amanda and a pregnant Saavik(carrying Spock's child)could be seen waving off Kirk & Co when they leave Vulcan to return to Earth with the Klingon Bird of prey they captured in ST III.

How pregnant was Saavik supposed to be? Seems like they weren't on Vulcan long enough for her to be showing.
I've also read that Saavik was supposedly pregnant by David Marcus-Kirk, from events leading up to the actual arrival of their research mission to the Genesis Planet.
Alternate answer: M5. "Did you see the love light in Spock's eyes? The right computer finally came along." - McCoy, "The Ultimate Computer."

According from what I heard and read she was to be shown very pregnant (making it obvious that she was pregnant ) never heard of the David being the father sub plot but I do remember hearing on one of the commentary tracks of the movies that they had serious plans for Saavik carrying Spock's child.
Mr. Spock: It would be most interesting to impress your memory engrams on a computer, Doctor. The resulting torrential flood of illogic would be most entertaining.

It was in one of the books where David and Saavik were "together." Maybe the novel version of Movie 3? I don't remember now.

And then later they could do another bad episode or movie, Spock's Child's Brain.

@Nexus71 :😉 I'm going to agree with you that the most likely candidate would be Saavik.

Well they talked about it during the commentary so I would expect that those who were involved with Star Trek III/IV would know about these things.

Kirstie, not Robin.

@Jetfire59 But unfortunately Jet, since Robin was in STIII and Kirstie wasn't, Robin gets to be Spock's baby's mamma.

I had myself hypnotized, MK. Whenever I see STIII I see Kirstie.
I mean Robin no disrespect, but she couldn't hold a candle to Kirstie. (who, BTW has said that she regrets not doing STIII)

@Jetfire59 :🖖Seriously? Even though the official reason was salary problems, I heard that Kirstie was sick and tired of William Shatner hitting on her constantly while they were filming STII, and she deliberately had her agent ask for too much money so they wouldn't hire her. Have you heard anything about this?

I hadn't heard the part about Shatner, but I believe it 100%. I respect her a great deal for not being a total female dog about Trek fans like Teri Garr. When they had to recast Saavik, couldn't they have found an actress that favored Kirstie just a little? The Saavik action figure looks exactly like her which, IMHO, speaks volumes.
