If someone can make those rumours about the Russian connection hard during election he could be arrested for treason and letting a foreign power willingly influence a legal and democratic national election (thereby making the election results as non-binding and unconstitutional')
What's the treason there? Among other things, a lot of people have a very elastic and expansive definition of "treason" when it suits their purposes. Otherwise, how is what's known so far about what any Russians did, significantly different from - for example - Barack Obama saying he wanted Benjamin Netanyahu's opponent to win election in Israel? Among other things. Our politicians and media etc "interfere" in elections in other countries all the time. So far, all anyone can say for sure is things like "hackers" revealed embarassing emails that Hillary Clinton and others didn't want voters to see. Which strikes me like the "Gabbo the puppet scandal" from The Simpsons: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4aWyiPBIsA Is that supposed to be "treason" these days, exposing the truth behind politicians? If the Nixon wiretapping etc stories had appeared in Pravda rather than the Washington Post, would you be arguing those who gave the information to Pravda were guilty of "treason?" And that Nixon should have remained in office? C'mon. Nobody is even claiming - let alone somehow able to prove - that Russians changed numbers on voting machines or anything like that which might actually qualify as "interference."
Treason might be too big a word although people in the US have been convicted of treason with less evidence , the question still remains about the legality of the election results. But do you think those Russians would offer their services for free to help Trump get into the White House?I' ll bet they would ask for some influence on US policy and that is highly illegal, criminal and some would even consider treason on grounds of " on selling out on your country".And I also remember on election night that in some states Trump voters demanded a recount where the recount actually showed that the Trump side had been frauding with votes, which makes you wonder about the nationwide picture and if the results where actually influenced by these fraudulent votes and maybe we would be looking at an entirely different picture now.
The Democrat party has a far longer and more illustrious history of election fraud. And many constitutional scholars (real ones, not pretenders like Obama) argue that treason is actually impossible except during time of actual war. But in any event, nobody has yet explained exactly what the Russians thought would benefit them about a Trump presidency. His goals of increasing US military power, actual progress of producing more energy and even exporting energy to European countries that were previously dependent on natural gas etc from Russia... those hardly benefit Russia. The best anyone could really prove is that Russia was mad at Hillary for various reasons - things she did while Sec of State, etc - and may have wanted her to lose for various reasons, but the idea that they affirmatively wanted Trump to win is pretty laughable. And Hillary would certainly have been far easier for them to game, manipulate, and take advantage of. Especially if they had kept all those emails etc for purposes of extortion. In that sense, they got the opposite of what would have benefited them most.
I think the problems with the Russians is that people got wind of it and they are now keeping a low profile ,if people hadn't got wind of it those influences might have been more visible .But I think both The Russians/Trump could benefit from such a scenario ,Trump's companies have various financial interests in Russia and the Russians probably want the help of Trump get rid of the EU/US sanctions (which is hurting their economy pretty badly and is undermining Putin's position in his own country).

Let's compare the increased sanctions vs Russia recently imposed, plus the increased military spending and energy exports especially to those countries previously 100% dependent on energy from Russia, with Hillary while as Sec of State etc allowing a large part of US uranium supplies to be sold to Russia, the (laughable) "reset" button, Obama telling the Russian ambassador "tell Putin I can be more flexible after I'm re-elected" etc. And the Clintons might not have apartments or hotels to sell, but the Clinton Foundation has been a conduit and slush fund for billions of dollars from foreigners and foreign governments including Russia.
No. No. Not at all. We had a great time, by the way. The restaurant was one of those places where more than 90% of the people in the building are speaking Spanish. It happened to be Karaoke night and the DJ was a somewhat overweight but very enthusiastic singer. He slammed down some Dos Equis between every song and told some jokes in Spanish that made most of the women in the place squeal with delighted laughter. He even shoved a microphone in my face and got me to sing Karma Chameleon. This is faaaaar from my favorite song, but at least I know how it is supposed to sound so I pretended to love it and belted out the tune. It was a lot more fun than it would have been to sourly push the microphone away.
Having fun is another thing to do. Like feeding Vaal.
Drinking water the next morning to fight off a hangover, same deal.
