One of my all time favourite shows. I have lost count of the number of times I have watched the series. 12+ times easily.
I am watching it again now and Buffy at the same time, trying to watch the episodes in some sort of Canonical order. But it does not really work. I don't think they are meant to be watched together, they are too different. Sure it is nice to match up the crossover episodes, but for the satisfaction of watching the handful of crossover episodes, it's difficult to fall into the swing of either show with the constant change between the two series.
Buffy the Vampire is a great show but Angel is superb... FACT!
Also loved Angel, but was disappointed with the crummy way they treated Cordelia. She deserved better than that. Angel was starting to find love again - which , I suppose in the Whedon world, is the kiss of death.
Even crummier now we know what an asshole Whedon "ALLEGEDLY" is.

I liked Angel more than Buffy. I was so happy when he got his own show!

I preferred "Buffy", but disliked Spike. I loved Angel and I was glad to see him again in another 'life' as Booth.
