Do všeho se navíc ještě přimíchává i Alec.

Manticore sends out a signal ordering all the escapees to return to a site where unbeknownst to them, awaits their death. While harboring a group of muddle Manticore escapees, Max is captured by a man who job it is to exterminate the remaining fugitives, leaving only Alec and the X6's to rescue her. Meanwhile, Lydecker contacts Logan when he gains information about Max that could be dangerous if it falls into the wrong hands.

A kormány egy különleges ügynököt, Ames White-ot küldi a Manticore nyomainak eltüntetésére, és teremtményeinek likvidálására. Max felelősnek érezvén magát "családjáért", a segítségükre siet. Közben kiderül, hogy Max az X-szériások között is egyedülálló: DNS-e egyetlen selejtes génpárt sem tartalmaz, de hogy ez mit jelent, egyelőre még ő sem sejti.

Manticore, o quello che ne resta, mette in atto un segnale satellitare per raggruppare i soldati dispersi per poi massacrarli all'arrivo nella zona prestabilita. Max, aiutato di malavoglia da Alec, si occupa di un gruppo di transgenici che non sanno cosa fare di loro stessi. Purtroppo viene catturata e tocca agli X6 e ad Alec trarla in salvo da Ames White, l'uomo incaricato di sterminare la progenie 'X' e tutti i transgenici che erano tenuti rinchiusi nei sotterranei. Tuttavia White non è quello che sembra essere, ma qualcosa di ancora più pericoloso.

White esta ordenando matar a todos los X que escaparon de Manticore. Max los protege y los mantiene a salvo pero al escapar los X, Max es capturada, y Alec y los muchachos irán a rescatar a Max como agradecimiento por haberlos salvado.
