Daughter Kees has a new bikini. The only problem is that it won't cover an old tattoo. After she gets rid of the tattoo, the ex-boy friend who put it there shows up because the tattoo contained a secret message.

The Flodders are having a barbecue, but obtaining proper meat is much harder than it seems.

Gus, an acquaintance of Johnny and Kees, is dying and wants to be frozen for thirty years. Johnny offers to keep him in his fridge, for a small fee of course.

A secret agent is being installed at the Flodder's home to spy at one of the neighbours.

Who is responsible for all the agressive children in Zonnedael? The neighbourhood accuses the Flodder family but Sjakie thinks the new video rental store has something to do with it because of all the fighting films they offer.

Henkie and Toet discover a new way of earning money; kidnapping animals and then collecting the reward when they bring them back.

Es ist der 1. April. Toet und Hennie haben sich jede Menge Aprilscherze ausgedacht. Ihr erstes Opfer ist Johnnie. Er liegt mit Freundin Sascha gemütlich im Bett, als Toet und Hennie hereinstürmen und behaupten, Saschas Freund stände vor der Tür. Johnnie macht kurzen Prozess und setzt die arme Sascha durchs Fenster ins Schwimmbad. Das „April, April!“ seiner Geschwister muntert ihn allerdings nicht auf. Dann werden die Nachbarn in den April geschickt. Auch deren Freude ist nicht gerade groß, als sie sich beim Rückwärtsfahren ihre Pergola abreißen. Als Johnnie sich mit Klaus auf den Weg macht, um Hennie und einigen Ganoven Schmuggelware zu überbringen, ist das Chaos perfekt. Erst geht das Auto kaputt, als Johnnie mit Werners Auto erscheint, halten ihn die Gauner für einen Spitzel und schließlich erscheint auch noch die Polizei auf der Bildfläche. Doch da die Ordnungshüter statt „heißer Ware“ nur einen Zettel mit der Aufschrift „April, April!“ finden, müssen sie die Bande zu ihrem Leidwesen wieder laufen lassen.

Johnny marries a Polish woman so she has the right papers to work in the Netherlands. The woman, however, doesn't seem to understand the marriage is fake, just as Kees, who thinks his brother is really getting hooked.
