バル・マスケとの戦いを終え、平和を取り戻した御崎市。シャナと悠二は町にとどまり、穏やかな日々を過ごす。だが、悠二を、宝具｢零時迷子｣を狙い新たな“徒”が現れる……。

Shana y Alastor, el Señor del Reino Carmesí, continúan luchando contra los Guze no Tomogaras, quienes intentan robar el Poder de la Existencia de los mortales. En la última batalla, se revela que Yūji es un místes, una antorcha con un Poder de la Existencia casi ilimitado. Dado que los Tomogaras quieren capturar a Yūji y usarlo para perturbar el equilibrio del Reino, Shana decide proteger a Yūji. Yūji entonces promete unirse a Shana en su lucha.

Shana and Alastor — the Lord of the Crimson Realm — continue to do battle with the Guze no Tomogaras, who are trying to steal the Power of Existence from mortals. In the last battle, Yūji is revealed to be a mystes, a torch with nearly unlimited Power of Existence. Since the Tomogaras want to capture Yūji and use him to upset the balance of the Realm, Shana resolves to protect Yūji. Yūji then vows to join Shana in her fight.

In der zweiten Staffel gibt es einen Neuzugang in Yujis Klasse: Fumina Konoe. Sie sieht einen früheren Gegner, Hecate, zum Verwechseln ähnlich. Shana gefällt es gar nicht, dass sie sich mit Yuji sehr gut versteht. Ist das berechtigtes Mistrauen oder Eifersucht?
