they are part of the same series, they are not 2 separate series

Dahmer and Monsters are two separate TV shows. Please see the TV guidelines to learn more. The main rule is that the database should follow how TV shows are originally released.
Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story was released as a new TV show (not a new season), as you can see on Netflix:
