This should be two seasons… Again. It’s so much a lose of information.

Yes...but what's more important, that it is the 25th episode or that it is the start of season 2...or are each of those data points equally important.

We know which one tmdb values above all....they say f*ck what the studio says tmdb knows best...

I don't understand why we find a season 2 on all sites (including the official site) that offer info for this anime ... except on tmdb. Can you respect the producers' choice by including season 2. Thank you

Per our rules, as long as the episodes are numbered continuously, they should be added to the same season.

What we are ALL saying is: change the rule, because the rule is wrong.

So, according to the rules, can you explain why they are not episode 148 for anime Hunter X Hunter (2011) (number find on the official website link https://www.ntv.co.jp/hunterhunter/story/index.html) 🤔 ? I'm not questioning the site's management rules but you also have to use common sense it seems to me, right? And since the official web site indicate a season 2, it should be normal for it to appear here ? New season come (most generaly) with new story, new arts, new characters and I would like to enrich your site with this informations

Many others animes are in this case : Kimi no Koto ga Dai Dai Dai Dai Daisuki na 100 Nin no Kanojo /// Solo Leveling /// Shy ..... Maybe you can review/adapt some management rules ???

As indicated in the content reports of that series, for example this one, the seasons will be merged by the administrator at a later date, not yet defined.

And what about the season 2 present on the official Japanese website ? On the anime Bible section, I read this : "The answer lies with the original Japanese data" Source : https://www.themoviedb.org/bible/tv/59f743289251416e71000037 Really, I don't understand (and neither do other people) why you don't add a season 2

"Must. Follow. Procedure." Truly annoying, especially as you're ignoring the part of your procedure that says, the Japanese data is the bible. My Plex is now using TVDB for it's metadata.

I liked TMDB; too bad to let them go, but I now do my updates on TVDB. Many of my contacts have the same problem managing seasons on anime and have also switched to TVDB.

There are alternative episode groups for separating the episodes into seasons/cours.

The season number is more important than the series number!!! Every official stream service eg crunchroll, data bases like IMDb, even official page of the show clearly said there is a SEASON 2. Even the numeration of the episodes is continued.

JUST ADD AN OVERALL COUNTER AS NEEDED. For such situations.

Groups of episodes are not made for splitting seasons. SEASONS made for splitting seasons one from each other.

Please change the rules because it’s inappropriate and very confusing.
