I made an account on imdb2.freeforums last night. Seems to be more active than the gotboard. I'm keeping my name too so we'll recognize each other.

I have to respond here, because I'm sick of the d'oh! I have an account on imdb2 as well. However, other than the name, I don't see the similarities between the boards.

Crae, you better transfer your avatar to this site. I love your avatar, btw. All you have to do is right click and save it on your hard drive. Then, tap on your profile -- which is a big R -- and upload it.

Too little, too late. A lot of posters (myself included) are still angry that they went back on their word and removed the boards earlier than they promised. They said they'll never go back to the site for anything and will use Wikipedia or any other site to look up movies. Serves IMDB right. They sat back and allowed the trolls to take over so they get rid of all the boards and now they think bringing them back will save them. SMH.

Yeah, I think there will be crickets when or if IMDB re-opens their message boards. Seriously, they had 70 million posters, who messes with that? Surely, they didn't lift a finger to stop the troll infestation, but they went ahead and messed around with their site by getting rid of everyone -- troll or not!

That's like dropping a nuclear bomb on a country when you want to kill a few terrorists.

Exactly. Have you been lurking on the imdb2 site. The talk show sections still slow, but the other boards are active and reminiscent of the original site before the trolls took over. I hope it stays that way.

No, I can't do all of that scrolling and replying under one topic. However, since you've asked, I posted under the Wendy topic. Since, it wasn't much of a hassle.

Glad to see you there, girl! I do wish there were separate boards for each talk show, but I mainly post in the music sections there.

Can't say I'll be a regular. Heck, moviechat is better. It still has the same IMDB threads for the most part.

It is set up quite nicely, but there are more than a few trolls who practically stalked me over there so I don't think I'll be joining that one any time soon.

At moviechat? I thought it was a relatively new site.

It is a new site, but I meant that the stalkers have now claimed a particular board there for their trolling. To be honest, there's not much going on over there. A handful of shows have a few threads on their boards, but that's about it.

You have to wonder about people sometimes.
