Sidenotes:

Fifteen years after the series ended, there was a sequel movie: "The Return of the Man from U.N.C.L.E.: The Fifteen Years Later Affair (1983)".

The actor Leo G. Carroll, who played Alexander Waverly (the head of the U.N.C.L.E. organization), had died in 1972. The new director of U.N.C.L.E., Sir John Raleigh, was played by Patrick Macnee.

I've got a few of those on DVD, Here in the UK "U.N.C.L.E." was never much seen past its initial showing apart from the "movies" and the box sets were prohibitively expensive. Looks like you can grab it for around £15/season now. I wonder if they still hold up?
