But I'm not 100% sure about this! The 2nd season was announced in June of 2018 and even though "Lazy in Space" can be considered a second season, it is often referred to by Frederator, as a sequel series, rather than a sequel season.

As you mentioned, it's referred as a sequel series, rather than a sequel season. In my opinion, should be treated as such. I also detailed further in a similar discussion in the other show.
Also, as someone did, I don't think adding "(Duplicated)" to this show's name is the right approach.
