Seasons don't match 20/20's website

Some of the seasons do not match what 20/20 is saying on their episode guide which is up at abc.com/shows/2020. For example, the 20/20 website states that the current season is season 42, not 43. This one season off is conflicting with episodes i'm trying to add to tmdb. On 20/20's page, S41E32 is Your Biggest Fan - In 1989, the young actress Rebecca Schaeffer was shot to death by an obsessed fan who had stalked her. Date of 04/12/19. But S41E32 on here covers James Comey. I realize that the problem is likely 20/20's fault but now that more and more episodes are available to stream off their site it would be useful to get tmdb and them matching i'd think. Is it ok for me to do that?

TMDb should display the original order used by ABC. So, for example, if they re-ordered their seasons a little bit when they added more episodes to their website, we would not change our seasons. We would instead use an episode group to replicate the current alternative order.
