As a general rule on Disney+ Each episode has 1 opening 2 mini episodes and 1 credit roll. Here they are broken out into two episodes. Why? I thought that the source was to be followed. For example on Disney+ Episode 1 is "The Young Jedi/Yoda’s Mission" and here it is Episode 1 "The Young Jedi" and Episode 2 "Yoda’s Mission". Not complaining, just trying to understand.

I invite you to read our segmentation rule.
I quote : "For kids cartoon with two or three distinct stories (segments) per half-hour, each episode should be split so that each segment is an episode. For example, "Going the Extra Milo / Sunny Side Up" should be two episodes. The main reason for splitting the segments is that segments are often released individually and/or paired with a different segment in subsequent releases."

The segmentation rule section that you quoted then goes on to say (and I quote also): "This rule doesn't apply to series originally broadcasted on streaming services (Netflix, Amazon Prime, AppleTV+, Disney+, ...). The probabilities for them to have their episodes split differently in the future are much smaller."
Young Jedi Adventures was originally created for a streaming service (Disney+), and as such should be kept as unsegmented 2-in-1 episodes, imho.

This is a very recent change to our rules.
The next sentence, after your quote read "During an interim period, some series originally broadcasted on streaming services will be listed segmented". So, you will have to wait until we have the time to do the necessary changes. It can take a few months until all the series are updated.

Ah, fair enough. I'm happy to make the changes to this one if you like?

Some parts of the process can only be done by a moderator. So, we prefer doing it ourself in one single run per series.

Ah, like deleting the extra 25 episodes, gotcha. No worries. I'll just sit this one out then.
