I don't remember that either! Which season did that happen? It's been a long time since I saw the later seasons. They were such an odd couple, just heading for disaster!

Think it must be season 5. It is the first season with Valerie and they got together right after Kelly was burned.

Ah yes. I stopped after season 4 when I watched the show again a couple of years ago. For the life of me I never understood what all these women saw in Mel!

Mel was a successful oral surgeon in Beverly Hills - i.e. he was rich. That's enough for most women.
