  • Nanoha Takamachi es una estudiante de tercer grado de primaria. Vive con sus padres, que tienen una cafetería, su hermana y su hermano, que están en la escuela secundaria y en la universidad, respectivamente. La vida normal de Nanoha cambia cuando oye una voz llamándola de vuelta a casa y termina rescatando un hurón herido (cuya forma humana es un niño arqueólogo, Yūno, que proviene de otro mundo).   • Yuuno Scrya é um mago de um planeta distante que tenta consertar o problema que começou quando as Jewel Seeds foram acidentalmente espalhadas ao redor do mundo. Numa tentativa falha de selar uma seed propriamente, ele vaga pela Terra na forma de um furão. No entanto, sua batalha não acabará até que ele alcance a Terra e ele precisará que alguém sele as seeds para ele. Takamachi Nanoha ouve seu chamado telepático por ajuda e vai ao seu encontro para ajudá-lo. Quando lhe é dado uma pérola mágica conhecida como Raising Heart ela é capaz de se transformar na Magical Girl Lyrical. Para ajudar Yuuno ela precisará selar as 21 Jewel Seeds, mas Fate irá interferir para impedir que Nanoha realize seu objetivo.

  • Nanoha Takamachi est une écolière ordinaire, mais alors qu'elle rentre de l'école avec ses deux amies une voix l'appelle à l'aide. Nanoha va sauver une belette qui se trouve être un sorcier à la recherche des Jewel Seeds. Elle décide alors d'aider ce sorcier, et va faire la rencontre de Fate Testarossa également à la recherche de ces fameuses pierres.
  • Très chouette animé, à première vue on pourrait lui trouver beaucoup de ressemblance à Card Captor Sakura, mais il n'a absolument rien a voir... les combats sont plus dynamiques, et l'histoire légèrement plus adulte.

A film adaptation of the anime series, also by Seven Arcs, was released in theaters on January 23, 2010, accompanied by a manga series which was serialized in Megami Magazine between November 2009 and March 2011.
