It popped up on my feed. I'd recently finished "Murdoch Mysteries" and Midsomer Murders; saw Alfred Molina was in this, so decided to give the series a look-see.

In trying to avoid spoilers, I didn’t do any background check on the series first. So, I had no idea it simply "dropped off a cliff" after S1. If I had known about it's meager lifespan, I don’t think I would have bothered.

While I enjoyed the series, I must admit that trying to follow so many characters with their many, many, many long and winding roads storylines, while still trying to 'suss out' the clues was demanding.

I really think the series suffered from having too much going on with too many.

Even with its faults...still disappointed no S2.
