Overview
位於北大西洋的島國，「富蘭德王國（Kingdom of Fourland）」。這個國家有著被認為是撲克牌起源的52枚「X-Playing Card」。牌上寄宿著52種異能，獲得卡牌的適合者「玩家（Player）」就會被賜與其上的力量。某日，國家所保管的 X-Playing Card 突然四散於整個富蘭德之中。獲得卡牌的玩家們使用其中的力量引起各種麻煩，讓富蘭德陷入了混亂。國王祕密的將一個任務交給了國內頂尖的大企業皮諾克爾。「將導致我國混亂的卡牌全部回收」。皮諾克爾組織了玩家集團「HIGH CARD」，目標是收回卡牌。為了大義、為了慾望、為了復仇、想要將卡牌納入手中的人們。當卡牌集結之時，到來的命運將會是繁榮、破滅、或是――。
