Discuti Twin Peaks

Although I agree that it may have been best to keep the reveal until the show finale, I think the show could have continued smoothly even after the reveal. I think what happened was Lynch was extremely frustrated with having to have been bullied into revealing the killer that he he threw his hands up in the air and said, "Fuck this show" and essentially walked off. That's when you had those fill-in writers who didn't have a clue what they were doing come in and destroy the show. Lynch came back for the finale and tried to right the course but the damage had been done.

Yeah but they coulda kept the mystery going about what Bob was, what the Black Lodge was, etc. When they abandoned that and started with BS like Nadine bumping her head and thinking she was in high school and Josie being stuck in the furniture or walls or whatever then the show got so bad no one wanted to watch it any more. To this day I have only seen the first 7 episodes of season 2 and the finale and sparingly watch the other episodes because they were practically unwatchable.

The MYSTERY regarding WHO BOB is was also REVEALED when LELAND ATTACKS and MURDERS MADDY.

And then again when LELAND dies in jail while COOPER holds him in his arms.

Can't recall which episodes that scene takes place in, but if it happens in the one's that you say you haven't seen, then that would also explain the reason why you're not AWARE of how they did reveal who and WHAT BOB was in them???

Actually not really. All you know is Bob possessed Leland to murder Laura and then Mike, the one armed man shoots Bob when they locate him down in the basement. However, it is revealed in the finale that you can't kill Bob and he once again possess Mr. C to carry on his rampage. It's not really explained what he is or what the Lodge is and The Return season touches up on a lot of this stuff.

What I always wondered was if Leland was actually innocent of these crimes or if he had to be complacent in some sense. It is heavily implied that only willing participants can be possessed of Bob. Even One-armed Mike talks about how he and Bob used to enjoy killing together and then he had a change of heart and chopped off his arm to disassociate himself from Bob. I always wonder how he pulled that off BTW. Chopping off his own arm. Sheesh. fearful

It's not Cooper but his Doppelganger. So I guess maybe that was Leland's dopperganger? Not sure. I am rewatching The Return now after watching that one guy's explanation video. A lot of the stuff he says makes sense but some of it seemed like he was reaching. Plus he didn't explain a lot of stuff.

And yes, he definitely would have needed a machine to take off that arm and help to bind it up. I mean, that thing was taken off at the shoulder which is CRAZY. How he didn't bleed to death is beyond me.
