has anyone read it? Is it worth reading it before the new season begins?

I have read The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer - Really clears a lot of things up. Be really interested in reading Secret History too. Anybody out there?

I read the diary as well, real crazy. Never heard of this. All twin peaks memorabilia is cool. Usually quality stuff

Secret History was really disappointing imo, although many fans like it a lot. The amount of interesting details about Twin Peaks characters is miniscule, and the book is mostly focused on well known conspiracy theories about secret military projects, aliens and such. It was supposedly advertised as a bridge between seasons 2 and 3, but it's more about creating a context for Twin Peaks in the past century. Sounds good on paper, but it all felt like a more generic version of X-files to me. There are a few key revelations though, so you might want to check out a recap of it. If you choose to read it, people have recommended the physical version.

Thanks firewalking!

Yes, thank you firewalking!

I had a feeling that it might be like that. I'll wait until the new season is over, then if I'll like it, I'll read it. Can't afford to stuff my head with too much crap at my age! stuck_out_tongue

oh, man, have you figured out the unignore thing?.... For fucks sake, put me back on ignore, i beg you.

stop this, this is my thread and you wouldn't be able to see it if you had me on ignore.

Thanks for the info link , Invidia. A heap of good info there. Nothing about tapes in the previous message.

COOL!!!

@Invidia

But apparently that's also not the case here, because the OP is still seen, but whatever else they've said and posted after that is still NOT seen.

you little effing liar! I just tried it, you cannot see threads by people on ignore. Of course.

and we didn't have you on imdb, unless you were lurking. why this interest in discussing twin peaks, all of a sudden?

Rofl so it's a fake ignore now! Because people who are on your ignore, you cannot see threads from eye

marr, i know you only watched the 1st season of TP, but i really would like your input on the theory i just posted on the Who's re-watching thread!

What are your thoughts on Pancakes???????

You had k_who on ignore for what feels like months (though it's probably a week or two), this thread is only two days old.

I just put you on ignore for show, I can't see your thread anymore:

Now can I see your posts:

And no it has nothing to do with your discussions, your discussions lists only discussions that you participated in (that you are watching). You shouldn't be able to see the thread (thus not be able to comment on or watch it) because you have the thread starter on ignore.

Anyway, if you don't want to understand it, it's fine, but you can't see threads of people you put on ignore. And don't try to tell us otherwise.. People had been saying that they wanted to see the threads, because other people might say something insightful despite the original poster being on their ignore list. So far, that hasn't been implemented, nor has Travis said he'd change that.
