Hello, Mr. Kaa-Taa!

It's gotta be up there. I'd say yes for themes with vocals. Dr. Who for instrumental themes.

Don't forget to go to your next class! Mr. Moore is waiting... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7J7QURtyTxU

One of my very favorite theme songs ever!👍

Hello, Mr. Kaa-Taa!

"Up your gizzard with a rubber lizard!" "Up your nose with a rubber hose!"

I loved how shows would create these wonderful theme songs for their shows and hate that its not done much anymore.

Me too. It's all about squeezing as much time for advertising dollars as possible. I hate when syndicated shows have the ending and opening credits/song of two different shows going on at the same time for nothing other than money. TBS started it years ago. Leave it to Ted Turner to think of that one.

How different would the show have been if the original pilot for Welcome Back Kotter had aired. It was much more gritty and dark as evidenced by the Sweathogs having actual gang initiations of killing rivals, and their signature phrases were quite different: "Up your A55 with some broken glass!" was one of them. Oh and Mr. Kotter was a parole officer instead of a teacher.
