1. It was a letdown. No Charlton Heston anywhere in it. They should have put some words before the title. ( The two perfectly amiable and capable actors playing the astronauts are only 100 percent good to those who do not know of Heston. They seem like obvious poor substitute fill-ins for him to most viewers!)
2. The credits said the show was based on the 1968 POTA film ( the one of course starring Heston majorly). But that is not true. The Zaius in this film is not the same at all as the one in the film. Zaius BTW is obviously a title not a name.
