I read somewhere that when they decided to get rid of a regular cast member when Jerri Ryan was cast as Seven of Nine, their first choice was Garrett Wang, but decided to let Jennifer Lien go after Wang was named one of the 50 Most Beautiful People In The World by People magazine.

I read the same thing Maria also Wang has been rumoured to be late on set on numerous occasions and coming to the set unprepared.
