LOVE this show! Now Binging thru the CoronaVirus Lockdown! So damn funny! I rate it up there with 30 Rock, HIMYM.

I hope they ended the show solid and do it justice. I see it left NBC and went online to Yahoo? for the final season?

So I just finished the show. Absolutely loved it! It did go down hill when they lost Glover and Chase. It's crazy I read they did not get along on the set right?

That Lava floor episode was done really well and that was the last really good episode with still Glover on the show.

In the final season the Karate Kid episode was hilarious how the drama teacher thought Mr. Miyagi was the true star of that play lol.

Really liked Community till it just got too clever, too much pop culture references and "meta" for me. Took me a while to get through season 6 (when it moved from NBC to YahooScreen).

Chevy Chase is notorious for being a major pain in the butt since he was dropped after the first season of SNL back in the 70s.

Still waiting for the "six seasons and a movie" movie.

Interesting how Joel McCale's whole motivation was to have sex with Britta from episode 1 then he gets to have sex with her like right away even before the season 1 finale lol. I thought they were gonna drag that out and then he finally gets to bang her much later on in the series but they just let him have her and then he still wants to be part of the group and the group is actually what keeps him coming back not trying to bang Britta. Also Britta's character slowly gets like phased out and she because a joke and almost like a secondary character as the show goes on.

I actually like the pop culture references. The Abed scenes where he connects everything to a fav show or movie was hilarious in my eyes. Thats actually what I liked about it. I didnt like when they tried to be completely original and unique and attempted to get a serious plot going at all.

The "META" complaint i didnt really get either. The show makes fun of junior college and the losers who attend it, I think thats brilliant.

That 5th season ending was pretty bad arse tho they should have kept that as the series ending with all of them finding the underground lair and the founder hidden down there for the last 30 years. That was actually a cool original idea.

Hell Yeah!!!! I love Brooklyn 99. When I finished it on Netflix I needed another show, I had seen one that referred to him rapping on his intro, and I saw Donald Glover, I said to myself 'Let's try it'. The best decision of my life, I just finished it, episodes that I can't stop watching, good characters, and a void inside me is what this series left me with.

Yeah Brooklyn99 was awesome too! I never got to watch the newer episodes once it got canceled and renewed? I think the last one I saw they were all down in florida for some retreat or stakeout can't remember lol How were the newer episodes?

Haha yea Donald Glover is a genius! BIG FAN here! Its crazy how he looks and behaves on Community is nothing like he looks and behaves in Atlanta or even SOLO as Lando. Maybe just the beard and more mature serious look and demeanor. Soon as Donald leaves community the quality did go down tho.

The first few seasons were amazing tho! Paintball episodes, Lava episodes were epic!

It sounds like you’re talking about Community! It’s definitely a beloved show with a cult following. The show did indeed leave NBC after five seasons and moved to Yahoo! Screen for its sixth and final season in 2015.

The sixth season had a bit of a different vibe due to some cast changes and a smaller budget, but it managed to retain the quirky humor and meta-commentary the show was known for. While fans have mixed opinions on how the series concluded, many feel it stayed true to its unique style and spirit. If you love shows like 30 Rock and How I Met Your Mother, you'll likely enjoy seeing how Community wraps up its story!

Yes Definitely talking about Community! Man! I started this thread literally at the height, even the beginning of our lockdown as this was first posted on March 29th, 2020! What's crazy was I never got the chance to see this show when it was live on NBC or Yahoo either but when we were all locked down and kinda had no choice but to start binging all our lists of shows we always wanted to see.

I even forgot about this show and how much I loved it. I should do a re-watch huh? Off the top of my head I really loved the lava floor episodes and paint ball episodes a lot! Would love to see Danny Pudi get more love and be in a ton more things! Man Donald should cast him in his projects he's producing! Would love to see him in any of the Star Wars films or series!
