Annoyed by last episode (5 going to NY)

Okay, I feel like all of that is so staged. I think, secretly, all the top five DO always show at NY Fashion week. If you look online, you can always find all five collections are shown. So all that is fabricated drama. However, only three are featured on the show (which is what accesses far many more people), so i can see wanting to be the top three.
All that aside, last weeks letting all five go seemed SO staged to me. I feel like that's why Kentaro was completely blank and un-enthused. He wasn't even trying to act, haha. He even said "I knew. you knew." I mean, I know he could have meant "Deep down we both knew we'd make it" like an intuition thing...but watching the rest, he probably meant they_ literally_ knew!
What convinced me is when Kenya "made" it. She came back into the room, pretending to be sad. And then she was like "I made it!" surprise surprise! type thing. And Kentaro was like "Yeah, I was wondering why you were acting all ..." meaning, he was surprised at her (fake) acting DISAPPOINTED, not surprised that she made it. Meaning he was feeling like she should have been happy. Why? Because he probably already knew she'd get in. Haha. He showed zero surprise at her making it through. It's funny to me he wasn't even trying to pretend like the others were.
And then in the preview, we see dun dun dunnn....that, oh nooo, all five WON'T make it to fashion week! So wtf was the point of all that? Just cut the shit already lol. Stop with these false "Only three of you are going! Just kidding yay you're all going! Just kidding no you're not! But yes you are! No! Yes!"
It's so obviously fabricated/fake drama and I wish they wouldn't insult the audience so obviously with all that. Just be straight up. ARe they going or not? Or, if the fact is that they're all going to make collections and are going, but only three will be featured on the show (based on how the collections are going), then be honest about THAT and show it that way. Make it so the eliminations will be after the collections episode, not this last one. Whatever.

I guess to them it's not making it to Fashion Week, if it isn't shown on TV for all to know. I figure that's equivalent to receiving an Oscar w/o it being aired.

The top six show, I suppose to prevent spoilers about the winner. Michael showed a collection also.

@Poetist I don't know but I would think yes if the purpose is to throw people off the scent of the finalists.

I imagine the others also are used in case something happens to someone going to fashion week, so it makes sense they would have the same amount of money.
