Rachel: "...then I realized. All this stuff that I had been doing: proposing to Joshua, lying to Ross about why I couldn’t come to the wedding, was all just a way of..."
Passenger next to Rachel: "Woah, oh, oh, oh! I’m sorry, can I interrupt? You know I just want to say that you are a horrible, horrible person."
Rachel: "Pardon me?"
Passenger next to Rachel: "Well, you say you love this man, and yet you’re about to ruin the happiest day of his life. I’m afraid I have to agree with your friend Pheebs. This is obviously a terrible, terrible plan."
"Rachel: "But he has to know how I feel!"
Passenger next to Rachel: "But why? He loves this...this Emily person. No good can come of this."
Rachel: "Ah, well I...I think you're wrong."
Passenger next to Rachel: "Oh no."
Rachel: "Ah, uh, he doesn't really love her. I mean it's just a rebound thing from me. Ah, uh, you'll see."
Passenger next to Rachel: "Fortunately, I won't. And by the way, it seems to me perfectly clear that you were on a break."
Was the passenger (played by actor Hugh Laurie) right or wrong? Is Rachel a horrible person? Were they on a break?

As Ross would say, "WE WERE ON A BREAK!". The passenger has sound logic. I agree the mission should have been aborted, but I don't think it makes Rachel a horrible person.
