I am a huge Friends fan, but everything has the possibility of annoying you at some point! What are some of the things that have annoyed you through the original run, to repeat watches!? Please keep in mind this is just a silly thread, not going into serious hating! haha

Something that bugs me everytime I watch it now, is in TOW Ross' Denial, when Monica is showing Chandler where he can put the Barker (sp?) lounger in the living room, she has a big square right in the middle of the room, in front of the other chairs! So, if they did actually put it there, nobody else would be able to speak to each other!? And, then she says "and it's in walking distance to the kitchen"....of course it is, it's in the same apartment!!!!!!!!!! So silly!

Joey & Rachel as a couple

-I also agree with Joey and Rachel being a couple.
-The whole "we were on a break" storyline. The more I see it, the more annoying it becomes, especially thanks to folks like imaneassi.
-Mike. Such a bland, boring and unfunny character and actor. I can't believe Phoebe ended up with him
-The characters becoming caricatures, especially Monica.

Man, that Joey/Rachel thing was arguably the worst decision in the history of TV writing. What were they thinking!!

That even Chandler had more sex than me. Actually, this bothers me for several other shows as well where geeky/weird/silly characters who are depicted as "not getting any" actually have an impressive number of partners. Alan in Two and a Half Man. Bud in Married with Children. The list goes on.

George on Seinfeld! He was depicted as a massive loser, yet got more action with hot chicks than anyone else!

I agree. In the real world, a Leonard never gets a girl like Penny

It always bugged me that the writers never really resolved the storyline about Phoebe's real father. I know they met in an episode, but did they ever actually show or mention him again?

Yes, that's very true. And it has annoyed me on occasion. There should have been some acknowledgement of him and her birth mother at her wedding!

The opening theme song started getting on my nerves as the seasons went on. Smelly Cat was getting annoying almost as much as Soft Kitty on The Big Bang Theory.

Everything! Hated that show.

Ross and Monica's parents. How much I hated them for treating Monica so awfully, while Ross was always their favorite.

In the episode "The One with Rachel's Book" they broke every record of awful behavior, by admitting they spent Monica's wedding fund. I couldn't understand why Monica didn't yell at them "but you had enough money to pay for Ross's wedding... no, make it both weddings!".

Joey and Rachel as a couple

Chandler falling for Joey's girlfriend

In regards to Ross and Monica's parents favoring Ross. The one where Monica wants to write the toast for the Geller's anniversary because every time Ross does it his parents end up in tears and Monica wants to shine. So she writes an (awful) toast, then the parents still want to have Ross say something. To which they cry! Poor Monica.

When Rachel, in response to Monica wanting to put "what were you thinking" on Rachel's wardrobe, "I was going to go write that on Chandler" I mean seriously? He was a much better catch than all of her bf's, Ross included. Always annoys me but I end up not hating it since Rachel only said it because she was angry.

And Phoebe belittling Chandler like he wasn't good enough for Monica. Always annoys me and that is the only times I dislike Phoebe.

That's about it though! It's pretty easy to tell by this that Chandler is my favorite, lol.
