Hatred towards Niki Sanders

I've read so many awful things about this character from fans. I just don't get it. Niki was BY FAR my favorite character in the whole show. I was rooting for her all the time. Am I alone with this?

well I read that seasons 2 and 3 are much worse then 1 but to me I don't see much difference between 1 and 2. Haven't seen 3 yet. As for the character I have no problem with her.
