Getting my western series fix with this one. It's an international production (locations clearly over-seas, actors from everywhere) and reminiscent of Spaghetti Westerns but it isn't one. There's a bunch of stories going on at once and the first episode doesn't make anything easy to understand but 5 episodes in it all clicks now. It's bloody and everyone in it is a bad man, or a woman in love with one. Violence is at 11. If you like oaters stick with this but it takes 3 episodes to get introduced to all the characters and storylines (a lot). I THINK it's only on AMC+ streaming?

yup! I was surprised too, since I just finished Raised by Wolves a few weeks ago.

I know it's a shame that some actors are defined by one role but he will always be Ragnar to me.

he's doing the same quirks in all three shows. This one he has an American accent.

So the quirks he had in Vikings weren't a one-off? I thought they were 'character-driven'. But I never really enjoyed Vikings after he left but I did watch it to the end.
'Vikings' is the only thing I have seen him in. I was looking through his roles through the years & his first (other than a J LO music video) role was as Tarzan in a short-lived TV series back in 2003. He looks so young I barely recognized him.

hard to say really. He could just be all kinds of quirky.
