Immer wieder hat Johnny Visionen, in denen Stillson ihn um Hilfe anfleht. Bei seiner letzten Vision sieht er ihn mit Miranda in einem Boot auf dem offenen Meer. Johnny alarmiert sofort die Küstenwache. Doch als das Boot gefunden wird, ist nur noch Stillson an Bord. Von Miranda fehlt jede Spur.
