Discuss The Wire

His 'everything for west-side' and the money to support his family doesn't seem to justify leaving the past between them. It tips the balance of power too much and if its just for the money he could have pressured Prop Joe instead.

It's great for building up the story on Marlo but feels unrealistic for such a realistic show. Or was this indeed based on true events?

He said it straight up To him why he was helping. “ eff those eastside bitches and I got nothing but love for the west side”. His beef with Marlo was just part of the game. He respected Marlo. It was always a territorial thing with him. Also the money tap was running dry and needed to get his sister some cash
