I still think about this show. Man, it was good. Timothy Olyphant was just too damn good as Raylan. Was a great casting.

I agree! Definitely in my top 5 of all time. Maybe even number 1.

In my #2 slot- right below Deadwood. wink

(and shared with Six Feet Under)

This show is on my to watch list. I've always wanted to watch it, but I haven't gotten to it yet.

I did think Olyphant did a great job, but it was Goggins who stole the show. They could have gone with a spin off. It would've done really well.

Agreed! Rylan was entertaining but it was Boyd I tuned in for. I hope one day they will revisit the story and have a special of some sort...Boyd discovering he has a son and escaping...

I love Timothy Olyphant and was bummed when he started showing up less and less. It started to feel like the Boyd Crowder show. I loved Boyd/Walter, but I didn't like him taking over the show.

Aww that's too bad. Have you been watching Santa Clarita diet? I'm hoping in the future they will have guest spots from the other actors of Justified. It seems to be the trend now days!

Yes, I watched Santa Clarita diet. I didn't love it, but I liked it. But, then I would watch anything TO is in. He was so awesome in Grinder. That was a great sitcom, and I don't care for sitcoms. I was pissed when they cancelled it.

Olyphant was the main reason I started watching the show. Wasn't familiar at all w/ "Deadwood" but Olyphant's had my respect since his remarkable turn in "Go" for Doug Liman in the late-90's. He was a great lawman in that remake of "The Crazies," as well.

Best aspect of this series is how well the series ramped things up as it went forward. Occasionally there'd be a calm during the storm, such as the Winona episode in S-6. Then right back on the edge of your seat, kicking the floor when a show ended. "Damn, come on next week!"

S-7 was great, wadn't it? Raylan goes back to Winona (you heard that guy call his daughter Punkin'...deserved to be kicked to the curb) Boyd escaped from prison in the back of a church-bus, hooks up w/ Ava (he saw through Raylan's stupid fell-asleep story) Art is promoted to U.S. Deputy Marshal of Kentucky, Tim shoots a bunch of rapscallions and says dry humorous things. Rachel looks hot in suits, as usual.

Loretta falls for Boon's charms. He didn't die from Raylan's bullet, just knocked the wind out of him. Loretta protected him from being shot twice by preventing Boon from reaching for his weapon...they drove off, stitched him up, live in Boulder, met them skiing once.

Wendy strolls around Miami in tight jeans, chasing ambulances and stopping traffic w/ her red hair as nature intended.

It all ends up in a big ol' showdown at the hoedown. Dickie Bennett says "Now, hold on, hold on, hold ON...let's just drink some Pappy Van Winkle and talk about the good old days, am I right or am I damn right?" Everyone agrees. Carl (didn't die, either) pours rounds.

Raylan and Boyd talk about digging coal together. "I dug more than you!" "Did not! "Did, too!" They're still arguing at a table lit by the glow of Boyd's teeth. Raylan keeps fidgeting with Boon's old hat. Contemplates mailing it to his Colorado address. Steps on it, instead.

The End. (Or is it?!??!!???!!!?!!?)

Wes that was great, lol.

I'm watching the series again. I forgot how great it was!!! I'm on the first episode and I may have forgotten but I thought Ava shot Boyd. I also forgot how entertaining Dewey was. Anyways I'm enjoying every minute.

One of my top 10 series post 2000. My favorite thing about the series was the assorted characters that played the "bad guys", of course Boyd, and Limehouse, but my favorite season might have been the one where Mags Bennett was the "bad guy" character.

I'm due to rewatch this series but I'm knee deep in about 7 series that I am viewing for the first time.

Yes!!! other than Boyd, Mags was the most memorable villain to me. It's hard to find a series that keeps my interest. Any suggestions?

Wow that is a wide open question. Let me give you a few that I have been recommending to my adult children and friends that they have thanked me for. These are all pretty much on Amazon Prime or Netflix so i'm not sure if you subscribe to those. In no particular order...

  1. Longmire - seen all 6 seasons, really good with great scenery
  2. Bosch - I've finished 3 season of 5 and surprised I never heard of it before
  3. Bodyguard - only one season so far, but excellent. Still negotiating for season two
  4. Orphan Black - this would normally not be my cup of tea, but it is addicting and you can't deny the acting chops of Tatiana Maslany
  5. Tin Star - season one is awesome with great bad guys and twist, season two was a real disappointment, more great scenery
  6. Broadchurch - just finished season 1 of 3 and watched it because of the long, long post on this site, gripping and excited to see more.
  7. The Marvelous Mrs Maisel - this is a comedy that you should check out, it's not for everyone, but it's really the only comedy I am watching right now, can't wait for the new season.

As far as the free channels go... I was really into The Blacklist, but it needs to end, it has grown stale for me. I still love Blue Bloods, but you don't want to think too much about the plot holes. And all three of the Chicago shows (Med, Fire, and PD) are guilty pleasures that I would like better if all the coworkers weren't all sleeping with one another. But really I won't miss any of those 5 shows when they are gone.

Thank you so much. I have not seen any of these Netflix/ Amazon shows and look forward to checking them out.

I do love Chicago Fire and PD (can't stomach Chicago Med for some reason) but I would have to agree, I would be okay if they were cancelled.

Thanks again grinning
