Francine steals from the CIA and pretends to be a super villain to incite Stan to be more seductive. Meanwhile, Roger tricks Hayley and Steve into trapping Jay Leno so he can take revenge.

Hayley gets a job as a delivery driver and begins delivering lunch to Stan's office; when she sees the terrible work conditions, she organizes a strike; the family watches Breaking Bad in reverse and discovers the show is hiding a scavenger hunt.

Steve tries to get into baseball to connect with Stan. Roger creates real life drama for Francine after her favorite soap opera is cancelled.

Klaus leaves the family after one too many harassments. 15 years later, they reconnect for his funeral.

Steve wants to know about the Smith Family heritage, but Stan refuses to indulge him. Stan is obsessed with being American and tells Steve that being American is all that matters. Steve steals Stan's DNA for an at-home DNA test and discovers that they are Canadian. Steve rejoices in finally knowing his heritage, but the news devastates Stan.

Steve and Jeff try to bond as brothers while the rest of the family visits an escape room.

Stan insists everyone help him recreate the rustic family ski trips of his childhood while Klaus falls in love with a tech support operator.

Francine insists that Steve let her help with his school project, Stan finally fixes that shingle, and the rest of the family goes on a quest to return Gallagher's mallet.
