1. Nope. I'm a tree-hugger not a sea-hugger. Plus, Can’t really do . Would have to cover-up more at the beach than I would out shoveling snow. (FORGOT: Also, don't enjoy being any place where people who should be wearing a ...let-it-all-hang-out instead. My vision generally blurs for about a week whenever I see such a sight.)

2. My vacation is more about “getting of that hamster wheel”. I could vacation under a bridge at a homeless encampment, if I could be 100% sure a “deadline” wouldn’t find me.

That's a good point. Going on a vacation isn't just about where you go, it's what you get to leave behind for a few days.

And yes, it's extremely hot where I am, too.

Every time I go to the beach I think to myself it's the only place where people basically walk around in the equivalent of their underwear, in an amount of clothing they probably wouldn't be caught dead in anywhere else.

The thing I miss most about summer is the length of the days. Sunshine makes this lemon happy.

During the summer schools are closed. There is an abundance of parking!!
