...his strict dinner schedule to allow for a Mexican meal on Cinco de Mayo? Friday nights were normally for Chinese so what would he do this year?

Extra credit: What is the best kind of Mexican food?

Did Sheldon ever eat Mexican food?

Penny served Sheldon those two Long Island Ice Teas at the Cheesecake factory and they have tequila in them. Does that count?

Not really.

I don't remember seeing him eat Mexican food, but I guess we can't really know for sure if he liked it or not. The only kind of food I remember him specifically saying he didn't like was Greek.

The more general question was, would he break his strict dinner routine to celebrate a holiday? I remember some Thanksgiving meals that he was a part of, so if they were the evening meal, the answer is yes.

As for Cinco de Mayo, Sheldon at least wouldn't give up the chance to regale everyone within earshot about the history of the day, whether he partook in the food or not.

Also I don't like Tequila, but I'd never say no to a taco. 🌮

I don't think Sheldon would care for a spicy bean-laden meal. It would upset his delicate disposition. He would take one bite of something and then just put it down quickly, like the time he had Greek food

You could be right. He would definitely have to avoid the high fiber end of his cereals the next morning if he did get spicy.

Do you like Mexican food, Z?

Authentic Mexican food or Taco Bell? 😁

Either

Being that I'm not one of those food channel people that go around the world eating different cuisines I would have to say yes. I don't mind fast food Mexican but only the way they made it years ago. Now it's all cheap and expensive. I do remember having some kind of white bean or chicken stew in an authentic Mexican restaurant which was very good. The only thing I would avoid is having some kind of international meal in one of those stereotypical family dinner scenes you see in the movies where everyone's talking loud and wanting to eat more and more and running into the kitchen to get more meatballs. I think most food that you find in restaurants comes out of cans and that includes any style. So I forgot what I was trying to see here. I guess I wouldn't turn down a Mexican Pizza if you offered me one.😁🍕🌮

I generally like Mexican food from restaurants that are a notch above Taco Bell but their new grilled cheese burrito is so good that even though I only let myself eat about a third of it, I savored every bite like it was my last.

Sheldon likes chili without beans, because 'Real chili has no beans in it'. He did enjoy Priya's chili with beans. So, he critisises certain food, but often he will eat it anyway and even like it. I won't be surprised if he had eaten four bowls of Priya's chili, and then split in two. wink

Btw, Sheldon might have been forced to eat real Mexican food every day, when the gang was stranded in Mexico.
