I can see them casting the actress in the role; she has great "screen presence".

As for getting along with the gang, Penny and Bernie like her; really can’t see any of the others disliking her. Not even Sheldon; since it is unlikely she will be invalidating any of his “Agreements”. Plus, her personality is no more caustic than Bernie’s; yet, Howard seems to have thrived, and the gang has not conspired to do-her-in.

As for not being compatible with Raj--The questionnaire says otherwise.

Can't remember if a picture was attached to said-questionnaire; but, when Raj saw her he didn't run screaming from the room; so I'm guessing her looks work for him. They work for me too.

I’m a big fan of looks; but, not at the expense of substance.

Yeah she's not ugly or anything its just there are so many gorgeous Indian actresses now, like jaw dropping or even just cute. She seems very dull and basic in comparison.

You got me on the questionnaire I forgot about that, but I guess we have to see how compatible they really are and the rest of the season is just not simply enough time right? So will the show end with Raj and hers wedding then? Most sitcoms usually end with milestones like weddings or someone moving away right?

But even if it did, the idea of having "compatible" answers is just a human construct too. They could give all the same "compatible" answers yet still end up divorcing if one of them changes their mind about having children for example, which they might seem to be setting up for Leonard and Penny.

Although it's only a sitcom, the actor's real life wife Neha Kapur (Miss India 2006), wouldn't want him (as Raj) having a television wife who is more beautiful than she is.

So poor Raj will have to settle for someone who is pretty, but not enough to cause any jealousy (and pesky gossip in the social media).

I think there's a pretty wide range of "attractive" above who they cast, before you get to "more beautiful than his real-life wife."

They are setting up Penny and Leonard troubles like setting up pins at a bowling alley just to knock them down and start over with a new set of pins. I wonder if they might also toss a gutterball into the Raj and Anu story just to make it a little interesting. Then just bring everything back to where it was.
On another point the arranged marriage story might be for the Indian audience who might want Raj to be less American and more relatable to them. If they get married I wonder if they will have them going to India for the nuptials.

They might. I'm pretty sure Raj wants a big Bollywood dance number somewhere along the line.

Thats true, it seems most would fill out questionnaires to make their own-self seem more attractive and compatible. I doubt anyone would show their true colors and full deck on those questionnaires.

A study I saw said like 70% of people online lie about everything to appear more desirable.

I thought Kaley looked fine before, but anyway, remember, there's no evidence that Penny had implants. I would say that Penny has plenty of natural hotness, even if you don't think Kaley does, and I prefer her kind to Priya's.

Anu kind of reminds me of Dr. Stephanie. Not your conventional "hottie"; but attractiveness wrapped in a quality-package (brains/ambition/confidence/outgoingness/directness/etc.) that makes her appealing to even the "hotties-only" types. And, if I remember correctly, Leonard and Howard were over Dr. Stephanie. (Sheldon was too—but, for a different reason).
