... stations without stopping to fill up? Do you let the meter get all the way down to empty before you refill your tank? My dad never let his gas tank get down below 1/4 of a tank before refilling. I always thought he was quirky for doing that.

Oh I thought you meant something like this

The Fartiste

To properly answer your question. 1/4 tank is my warning sign although I have let it go below. If I am close to a gas station I have to stop and at least put in a couple of dollars to get it back to a safe level and get more gas at a station I like. I don't like unfamiliar gas stations.

Your Fartiste article reminds me of an article I read the other day. According to an Australian researcher, if one holds in their farts, they could be reabsorbed into the bloodstream and come out one's mouth. Perhaps Sheldon could make this hypothesis the focus of his research this final season, aided by cruciferous vegetables, and finally win his Noble gas prize.

Fart Quantum Gravity ?

More of a Big Bang!

Speaking of which, have they really ever discussed the big bang theory much on The Big Bang Theory?

And by the way, I'm with you on unfamiliar gas stations. I like to go to gas stations where the pumps know me by name.

We know that Sheldon likes Flat Land. He has been to Flatulent Land as well. And Leonard with his dairy problems. fuelpump

Is The Big Bang Theory saying that the Universe was created by a cosmic fart?

I have to go now. Hopefully someone else can put this thread back on track. I know you were looking for a serious discussion about regular car maintenance. Now its all about staying regular. Since you like the music of Queen there Lemons, how about a rendition of their song "Fart bottom girls". Okay this thread has finally pooped out for me.

Sadly, methane is not a Noble gas.

Sheldon says, "Curse you!"

Mom did that a lot, and Dad would say "What are you trying to do, wean the car off of gas(oline)? It won't work!"

To Knixon, who never seems to appreciate my cleverness

Sure, Noble versus Nobel. Assuming that was deliberate.

This came up after yours, I found it interesting. But that CLAM guy, seems like he should have just walked off the stage.
