Debatir The Big Bang Theory

1) We won't get to watch Haley or Neal grow up (barring some sort of cheesy time skip).

2) Raj has 24 episodes left to get married.

3)Odds of a return for certain characters like Priya, Emily , Missy etc., have drastically decreased.

4) We won't get to see them reference Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 or Infinity War part 2.

5) We won't get to see them react to Game of Thrones and the final season, Big bang might end before Game of Thrones does.

6) We may never find out Penny's original last name.

7)We may never find out who Howard's dad was.

8)Fun with Flags is cancelled by default.

9)Claire will never finish her screenplay.

I need at least a few things from the writers, give me a GREAT memorable ending and a Garfunkle and Oates / Barenaked Ladies collaborative musical number . Give me ONE more Mark Hamill guest appearance, and bring all the recurring characters back in a 2 hour finale event ( Kurt, kripke, Claire, Emily, Alex Jensen, Romona, Lucy etc)

Then I'll be satisfied.

10)There is only one more season to bring Brian May on as a guest star.

11)The show will not go on and on way past the time of being creative and hilarious just because it is making a network money.

I agree that I want a GREAT and memorable ending, which is why I mentioned in my thread that I hope they don't just fade to black on the last episode while living a normal day. I suppose if done right that could be touching, but I'd love an "epic" ending (which I believe is something they promised in a recent article).

A fitting final season should probably include the occasional homage to past episodes, cameos by popular characters and tried and true gags that have made a number of years enjoyable with Big Bang. I guess the implications are that our perpetual nerds will carry on business as usual and with any luck maybe even revert to a little more nerdom.

Rudd! I remember you from the old board!! It's so cool to see you here! smiley

12) We probably won't get to hear Mike Massimino call Howard "Fruit Loops" again

13) Howard won't be called in to see Ms. Davis in H.R. any time soon.

14) We wont' get to see Howards step brother again.

She's not in H.R. any more, hasn't been for some time. Maybe a couple years or more. She's the/a Dean now.

I wanted to bump this thread. First and foremost because it's a good thread and I'd love to see it keep going. And 2nd because I'd like to elaborate on my entry above about Brian May. The new movie Bohemian Rhapsody will be coming out November 2nd and is anticipated to be an Academy award-winning performance. If anyone didn't know who Brian May was before, they'll know who he was after this movie. It would be timely to make him a guest star, and it makes sense. He's an astrophysicist.

Please show creators, if you ever see this, please put Brian May on the show. Only one more season for the best guest star ever and this year he'll be in the spotlight for a while!!!

That's a great idea, get Brian May on!!!!!!!!! We deserve a great last season since we've been loyal enough to stick around for 12 seasons.

15.We’ll never get to know how smart-and-beautiful Leonard and Penny’s kids turn out to be.

16.We'll never get to hear Kripke do an encore performance at Shamy's fifth anniversary celebration.

17.Last chance to find out which explanation in Howard's Dad's Letter is the real one.

Other than The Dad Letter, my short list for the writers only includes the elevator and the tenure question. After all this time, I'm good with the Penny-name-thing.

We'll only have one more season to see Sheldon play bongos again. And play the theremin. And Tuvan throat sing. And play the recorder. And sing minstrel songs.

Oh wait, you didn't want to see that again?

One more request to add to my shortlist for the writers:

Please let the guys get Barry. They have been the "Elmer Fudd" to his wascally wabbit, toooooooooooooooooooooooo many times!

And play tuba. And play rock band with Beverly. And surprise us with a new musical talent. And play video games or just walk around in them or go to Sheldonopolis and buy a sweater.

I knew he played a brass instrument and couldn't remember which one. Thanks Z!

And do you think Pasadena (and the events therein) could have been one giant hologram to the residents of Sheldonopolis??

He also played Trumpet/Cornet or something, at least in his dreams, in "The Relaxation Integration."
